MY FILM PROCESS
After my experiences taking and editing wedding films, I noticed they all began to look the same. I wanted to create more than a chronological video of the day. So I changed my approach to present story-driven experiences. Letting me showcase not only your wedding day but the whole journey of your love story.
YOUR STORY IS UNIQUE, YOUR WEDDING FILM SHOULD BE TOO.
My goal with each of my films is to reach into the past and unpack your love story. From the first date to the first "I love you" through the moment you were engaged. I want to capture those memory-making moments so that 40 years from now, you can look back fondly at this keepsake, the journey, and where it all started!

We fall head over heels for grounded and real characters at the root of any great story, and the only way to fall for them is by knowing them at their core. So like I've said so many times up until now, I want to get to know you.
Building a relationship with my clients is a vital part of my process because it allows me to display your most authentic self on video in a way that doesn't feel manufactured or fake. Genuine relationships create comfort, the ingredient to a fantastic wedding film that's true to who you are!

AUTHENTICITY
Authentic Couples create authentic wedding films. Being in the industry for the time that I have has shown me that while trying to capture the details of the day or the ceremony itself, the couple has been lost in the midst of everything else on the to do list.
So in an effort to keep my films authentic and genuine I've taken the approach that focuses on the story of how you fell in love, where you met, etc. Again to be an authentic representation of you and who you are. Some of the most unorthodox weddings I've done have been so much fun becasue the couple was so unapologetically themselves.. and on Camera.. It shows.

EMOTION
If authenticity translates well on screen, emotion is an absolutely priceless piece of the puzzle. Amidst all of the emotions that come with a wedding day I will be around during some of the most emotional moments of your day. Now a disclaimer.. I will not be directing your emotional moments with family, with your spouse etc.. Personally my style is more of the fly on the wall type approach as apposed to the Director all up in your grill..
With that said I do want to catch those moments, so I may ask you questions, or direct to add to the moment not manufacture the moment..
styles of films
My goal is to build your film from the ground up. To showcase your love story in a way that is everything you want it to be. The two options I offer showcase that story in their unique way. I will always give my recommendations but whatever fits you best is what I'd encourage the most!

SINGLE DAY FILM
A single-day film has all of the essentials. I will be filming for the entire day to capture every important moment of the wedding day. I normally stay until grand exit to add the cherry on top of a perfect day! A single day film will cover everything from bridal prep, to the ceremony, as well as the reception. Including your first dance, speeches from your close family and friends and whatever else it is that you have planned for the day!

MULTI-DAY FILM
A Multi-Day film is where some of the most detailed and personal stories are told. Essentially its 2 days worth of shooting including your wedding day. This could be the engagement session, or even what i like to call an adventure session to a place of your choosing. This is the most intimate and personal of the two and is Perfect for adventurous couples looking for an extra day or two of shooting to bring to life the wedding video you've always imagined.
