I aim to make you feel as confident as possible in choosing me. Here's an idea of what you can expect from me and our process to documenting the best wedding film possible.

love story.
I believe that the most memorable pieces of media and photos we can own are the ones that show. The natural & authentic moments happened because we were living in the moment. I aim to capture the exact moments of love, adoration, and infatuation you share with your significant other. My goal is to capture your love story in the most genuine and natural way possible. The day's beauty will only be amplified by getting to the root of the romance, and that's where you come in.

... and it all starts by creating authentic relationships.
As I said before, I am super involved in my church community. One thing I can say for sure is that the most transparent and vulnerable people I have met are the ones I have the most amazing friendships. It all started with creating authentic relationships with them.. that's why I invest myself in learning about you. I take the time to learn about your passions, goals, and personality to get a deeper feel and understanding of my clients so you can be completely yourself while we spend time working together.
Now, instead of just being "the video guy," I want you to get to know me. Getting to know me, the things I'm passionate about, and my personality will only increase the comfort during our shoot so we can create absolute magic. We can laugh, make jokes, and relate on a level that goes beyond "video guy and newlyweds" I hope that you'd see me as something more personal... a friend.
So no matter what stage you are in the journey, whether it be newlyweds, soon-to-be-married, or even just a couple who wants to create some fantastic content - my process is the same, so let's get to know each other!
good relationships = fun shoots
One of the best things about us forming a relationship beforehand is that when shoot day comes, we can approach it in a casual and fun way. There's no unnecessary pressure or stress. On the day, it's as simple as getting together the day of having a good time, and creating some excellent content along the way!
SHOOT DAY
Now the actual day of the shoot, when cameras are out, and you're all set and ready to go, it will be phenomenal. We're going to laugh, make jokes, and best of all, I will be your number one hype man. I always keep my eyes open for the best possible shots, so be ready to be on the move occasionally.
As much as I want to set you up for the best shots possible, I also don't want to create weird, unnatural, and robotic poses that feel awkward. No one likes those high school yearbook poses.
I will direct you and prompt you with questions and memories to get the most organic and natural content possible. Like my favorite phrase, I'm "the fly on the wall that captures it all!"
Ultimately we're going to leverage the relationship we've cultivated to make it an enjoyable shoot that you feel like you, that you can be proud of and excited to share with friends and family!

COMMUNICATION
Just like with anything, communication is key. So I love ensuring all of your questions are answered beforehand. Again laying out the plan and keeping an open line of communication will help us create the most genuine and authentic content we can. Even during the day of the shoot, the line of communication stays open for two reasons. Firstly, ensure everyone is comfortable and having a good time during the shoot. Secondly, any last-minute changes or new ideas are welcomed to ensure we leave no stone unturned. My shoots are super relaxed and light-hearted, and open communication is a step to getting there every time!
SPONTANEITY
I've learned in the past that leaving any idea unturned is a shame. Again during the shoot, the vibe is relaxed and fun so I want you to be yourself. This is your content, so I want you to be as authentic in it as possible, even in things that may seem out of the ordinary. I say BRING IT ON! I always say the more footage, the better. Yes, it's much editing, but it does allow me to have everything I need and more in the Post Production process. So don't hesitate to make suggestions, ask questions, and BE YOU!
COLLABORATION
Again everything about this journey is something I view as a collaborative effort to bring your vision and my artistic style into a place of harmony. I know the weight of what it is that we are creating. The day, the moment in time, chapter in your story that we're documenting is one that needs to be handled with the utmost care and thoughtfulness. So before the actual shoot day, I want to hear your ideas. Please show me the Pinterest board you've had since you were nine and let's make it a reality. I believe that our collaboration is the stepping stone to creating a piece that is wholly and uniquely tailored to you.

I am never going to twist your arm into booking me.
The lens captures the moment, but the perspective of the person behind the camera will be the lens of the memories you will relive for years to come.
