MORE ABOUT ME
Israel Daniel Arellanes
VIDEOGRAPHER // CINEMATOGRAPHER
Hello my friend! First off I want to thank you so much for taking the time to consider me to take on the honor of capturing your special day. I've lived in the good ol' Arizona heat my entire life. Before cinematography, I was pursuing an acting career in LA, but came to the realization that I enjoyed being behind the camera as apposed to in front of it. I am a secret "RomCom" watcher so I am a sucker for a good LOVE story.
I've been living life through my lens since I was a senior in high school. My best friend introduced me to photography and videography and I fell in love with it. Not just for the fact that I felt super cool walking around with my used little dented Sony camera, but also the idea of capturing a moment in time with all the raw emotion, detail, and beauty I could capture. I made the transition to video a few years back and haven't turned back since. I was introduced to Wedding Cinematography by another friend of mine who I work with today. After my first wedding film I told him "Man I can't imagine doing anything else." and now here we are!
My personal mission is to create a timeless visual representation of one of the happiest days of your life. To cultivate a visual story that emphasizes on the passion and love that you feel for your significant other. To document your love story from when it began, to where it is, to where it's going in the future. I believe if a pictures worth a thousand words; a video says quite a few words itself.
I want you to be able to take a look back as often as you like at your wedding day and remember why and how the journey started. My personal style is one that is a little more hands off still allowing for you to enjoy your special day. To be "the fly on the wall that captures it all" is my saying.
I can't wait to meet you and document your love story that you can enjoy for years to come!
here's a few things i'm passionate about
What I've learned over the time that Ive been in the industry of wedding filmmaking I have come to understand one central truth. I believe that real and genuine relationships with my clients produce some of the best results. Forming a relationship where I am all about getting to know you.. as much as you get to know me. I am Israel the Filmmaker.. but that is only a piece of what makes me who I am. So my hope is by sharing a few of the things Im most passionate about you can get to know me a little more.. To see if we can connect and work together to create a cohesive and enjoyable experience. So here are a few things I love and care about...
1
my relationship with Jesus..
I accepted Jesus when I was 9 years old but my faith didn't become my own until I turned 17. I got more invested in my bible and learning following after my Pops and his love for the church. My walk with God personally has become a foundational part of who I am. Reading the bible and trying to learn more, love more, and live more like Jesus is all I ever try to do..
2
powerlifting + bodybuilding
I have a memory as a kid being at a red lobster, and my tio taking me out to the fountain telling me to make a wish.. Now funny enough 7 year old Israel knew he and I quote "wanted to be a muscle man". So little did I know lifting would be a major asset to my life. I learned how to power lift and I just loved it. Being strong and pushing my Body to its limits is something I belive Ill never get tired of. Its amazing for my mental health, my inner confidence, and above all it keeps me disciplined and grounded in something healthy. Plus I enjoy the heck out if it..
3
my close friends + family
My family has been the rock aside from my faith that has kept me grounded. My father has walked with me through so many areas of life that I just may not be able to navigate on my own. I have friends who call me that I have lead and counseled but more than anything.. living life with the people I love and sharing the blessings is bliss. I used to be a loner and kind of quiet.. but one day I found the friends I know now through my church and there has not been a dull day since.
